Co-Founder D#AVANTGARDE – new technology, art and creativity

Stephanie Meisl – aka s.myselle – is a concept/media artist. Her work has been presented in Paris, Copenhagen and at the Salzburg Festival, among others. She is the winner of the Salzburg VJ Lab Award and a member of the Schmiede art festival, which was awarded the Austrian Art Prize in 2016. In 2021 she received the media art award of the city of Salzburg. In 2023 she was awarded with the Digital Literacy Price by Wirtschaftsagentur Wien. Together with David Fisslthaler she curated and organized the art exhibition "AI and The Arts" at the Trakl Gallerie in Salzburg. In September 2024, she was announced Vice Chair of the Creatives Industries Council for the Austrian Chamber of Commerce.
With the artist figure, her digital twin s.myselle, Stephanie Meisl interprets humans as humanoid intelligences whose data set (information archive) consists of personal experiences and adventures. Her preference for past art movements, artists and thinkers inspires the resulting new works. By looking into the past, she tries to reshape the future and finds herself in a new digital avantgarde. Her youngest art research project is "How Real is the Digital Reality", where she explores the impact of new technology especially in Social Media.
